Dr. Gatana Kariuki has 20 years’ experience in the ICT sector and has led a team of experts on various projects namely e-Governance, ICT Strategy and Policy, Project Management, Capacity Building, Organizational Development, Management Information Systems, Network and Systems Security, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planning. He has worked with over 30 government institutions in 14 countries across Africa, Asia, Middle East and Oceania funded by various donor partners such as World Bank, USAID, AusAid, GIZ and various UN agencies. He holds a Doctor of Management degree from Swiss Management Centre University, Switzerland, a Master of Business Administration degree in Strategic Management and Information Systems from United States International University – Africa, Kenya and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Physics from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), Kenya. He is professionally certified in PRINCE2, ITIL, Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) Security, CCSP, Cisco Firewall Specialist, Cisco Information Security Specialist, Cisco IPS Specialist, Cisco VPN Specialist, CCNA, MCSE, MCSA, MCDBA and MCP.
